Concept

Streakout is a minimal workout tracking app for iPhone, designed to complement the Apple Fitness app and answer one of the most important questions related to your health:

„ How often did you move —
...this week, this month, this year? “

Because what matters most is showing up.

Streakout reads your existing workout data from Apple Health and turns it into beautiful charts and insights that support a balanced, longevity-focused training routine.

There is no clutter and no noise – only the most important metrics at a glance.

Many of the concepts found in Streakout, e.g. "The 5 Pillars of Exercise for Longevity", are based on Bryan Johnson's Blueprint Protocol.

Vision

The vision for Streakout is to make personal health and fitness data easy to understand, helping people to train smarter and build lasting exercise habits that support a healthy, longevity-focused lifestyle.

Principles

Always follow the science
Data is all that matters. In light of new evidence, we have to abandon our priors and adapt.

Pareto
80% of the results come from 20% of the effort. This is relevant for an effective training routine (rhythm, nutrition, sleep, recovery), whereas effort on the product side is always 200%.

Aloha Spirit 🌺
Streakout is designed and built in the spirit of Aloha: "Aloha Spirit is the coordination of mind and heart within each person. It brings each person to the self. Each person must think and emote good feelings to others." - §5-7.5 Hawai'i Revised Statutes

Design

The design of Streakout is intentionally clean and minimal, with the goal of making the app simple, beautiful, and enjoyable to use. It should be a visual delight to open every day to check in on your workouts and get motivated to move.

Design Principles

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication"
— Leonardo da Vinci

Lightning-fast
Interactions should feel instant; lag breaks flow.

Focus
Surface what you need, when you need it; hide everything else.

Beauty
Being surrounded by beautiful things makes us happy.

UX is everything
Every design decision focuses on user experience.

Color System

The color palette pairs vivid neon accents (inspired by Apple Fitness) with traditional Japanese wa-iro tones (和色). The combination is intended to balance high energy with focus, consistency, and a sense of calm.

More details about this concept will follow, as it is still a work in progress.

Outlook

The current focus is on further refining the UI and tweaking interactions to make them feel as smooth and natural as possible.

Next steps are to support multiple workouts per day and add more Activity Type details, Heart Rate Zone distributions, a profile with 90-day scope, customizable training goals, and live workout recording with real-time heart rate zone tracking.
