The following policy outlines how personal data is handled when you use this website or the Streakout iOS app.

Web

This site is for marketing purposes only and does not collect any personal data.

Third-Party Services

Vercel

The site is hosted on Vercel cloud services. Vercel gets access to request and error logs of your visits and stores them in their databases.

Please consult their Privacy Policy for more information.

Plausible

The site uses privacy-friendly analytics provided by Plausible to improve user experience. Plausible doesn't use cookies to trace you around the web.

Please consult their Privacy Policy for more information.

Cookies

Both Vercel and Plausible may store strictly functional cookies on your device when visiting this website. These cookies are not used to track you across different websites or sessions.

iOS App

The Streakout iOS app (referred to as "the app") is available exclusively in the App Store and designed with maximum privacy in mind.

Data Collection

The app does not collect, store, or transmit personal data outside your device.

HealthKit Data

During setup, the app will ask for your explicit permission to read Apple Health data.

If permission is granted, the app may read the following data:

  • Workout records
  • Workout metadata (e.g. activity type, duration, distance, energy burned)
  • Related fitness metrics associated with workouts

This data:

  • Is read-only (the app currently does not write or modify HealthKit data)
  • Remains on your device
  • Is used only to display statistics and insights within the app
  • Is not used for advertising, marketing, or tracking purposes

The app does not upload HealthKit data, share it with third parties, or store it outside your device.

Note that future updates might introduce features that do write or modify HealthKit data locally. In that case, the app will prompt you for additional permissions.

Analytics and Tracking

The app does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, trackers, or fingerprinting technologies.

The app relies only on Apple’s aggregated, privacy-preserving App Store statistics, which are anonymous and provided directly by Apple. The app does not have access to identifiable analytics data.

Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device using iOS system storage.

The app does not:

  • Operate servers or cloud storage
  • Sync data externally
  • Transmit data over the network
  • Share data with third parties

Permissions

The app requests access to HealthKit only to read workout-related data. You can review or revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.

Changes to This Policy

Any changes to this policy in the future will be published here.
