Streakout groups Activity Types into 10 color-coded Exercise Categories. They are unique to Streakout and not related to Apple Health or another fitness platform.

The categories reflect two complementary dimensions: Physiological, such as Cardio and Strength, and Environmental, such as Aquatic and Outdoor. The environmental dimension takes precedence when it meaningfully changes the nature of the activity.

Recovery Exercise
Low-demand activities that support physiological recovery and help the body transition between efforts.
3Activities
Physiological
Cardio Exercise
Sustained or repeated activities that primarily challenge cardiovascular capacity, aerobic endurance, and energy delivery.
18Activities
Physiological
Play & Sports
Games and sports that combine physical effort with reaction speed, coordination, decision-making, and strategy.
23Activities
Physiological
Strength Training
Resistance-based activities that primarily challenge muscular strength, power, stability, and force production.
4Activities
Physiological
Combat Sports
Striking, grappling, and martial arts that challenge conditioning, impact management, reaction speed, and tactical control.
4Activities
Physiological
Mobility Exercise
Controlled activities that primarily challenge range of motion, flexibility, balance, posture, and movement control.
6Activities
Physiological
Precision Exercise
Skill-led activities that challenge precise motor control, timing, balance, coordination, and exact execution.
6Activities
Physiological
Aquatic Exercise
Activities where buoyancy, water resistance, balance, and changing water conditions fundamentally shape physical demand.
8Activities
Environmental
Snow Sports
Activities where snow, terrain, balance, speed, and changing surface conditions fundamentally shape physical demand.
4Activities
Environmental
Outdoor Exercise
Activities where terrain, distance, weather, load, and changing natural conditions fundamentally shape physical demand.
